Fountain and Music Show
North Square of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. With an investment of 500 million Yuan, the area covers some 110,000sqm and is the largest music fountain in Asia. It is surrounded by spectacular sculptures and well-maintained landscaped areas. The Fountain and Music Show has the most benches, the longest light-belt, and the largest-scale acoustic complex in the world. This is not only one of the most impressive squares in China but is also an important national monument to Tang culture.

Tang Dynasty Show
The Tang Dynasty Show, a wonderful performance of the ancient music and dance, is a must when you visit Xian. The city, which was formerly known as Chang'an has a very long history, and was the imperial capital during 13 dynastic periods. Of these, the Tang Dynasty (618 - 907) was the most prosperous and glorious of all. The Tang Dynasty Show is an outstanding exponent of this ancient stable and prosperous society, keeping alive its splendid culture and providing an insight into the peaceful life style of the period.
The show presented today is a recreation of a traditional entertainment attributable to a great variety of historical records and relics. In order to embody the characteristics of the music and the dance of Tang accurately, the artists spent much time reading the relevant books, historical records and monographs on the entertainments enjoyed by the royal court.

KTV - Karaoke

Karaoke is hugely popular in Xian and this is where you will find locals of all ages belting out both western and eastern ballads. The KTV venues are where people go to have fun and are well frequented. In Asia karaoke is used as a method of romancing and impressing a loved one or potential suitor, so be prepared to be serenaded. It has become a distinct part of nightlife culture in and for most a guaranteed good night.

Pubs and Bars
There are some lively pubs and bars crowded along the short Nandajie Street, where there is street food and restaurants open past midnight. One of the most famous bar street---De Fu Xiang. Along this lane there are over twenty bars, cafes and teahouses. Each has a distinct style and an intriguing name such as Roman holiday, Blue Heart, Captain, Old Tree, etc. An archway signifies the entrance to the lane and can be found on Fen Xiang, Nan Dajie. For a dozen of Carlsberg, Heineken, Budweiser or local Tsingtao beer may cost about 150 to 300 Yuan.
